The shoppers paradise. Or, as I like to see it, the shopping-hater’s hell. But on that a bit later. If you’re looking to get some cheap Indian style clothing for the duration of your trip (save the take home stuff for the likes of FabIndia or some other shops in Select CityWalk and the pricier markets), then Sarojini Nagar is the place to be.
With tons of shops and stalls for shoes, jewelry, and clothes for everyone, it’s a bit overwhelming with all the options presented to you. Now I personally am not a fan of shopping, but I can appreciate the variety, quantity, and ability to haggle down the prices (when I’m in the mood). It’s probably not for the indecisive unless you’re willing to spend a long amount of time there.
The good news? If you’re stuck on any particular kurta or salwar suit and decide to walk away, chances are you’ll come across it again few stalls down. Even better, the prices are cheap and negotiable, the supply, unending.
